Brighton Artists in Space – A Conference …

What’s it all about? a BIG collaborative event inviting all artists, relevant council people, local councilors, business people/ potential funders, advice agencies and groups already using empty Brighton Space and beyond to get together for a day.
The conference will aim to: increase accessibility for artists and the arts to empty spaces in the city; to share our experience and vision; to make a strong case for a more coherent arts community; to create pathways for these things to happen; to INSPIRE, to work on PRACTICALITIES and to set into action a PLAN FOR THE FUTURE. Yeay!

The Conference is set for Autumn at Phoenix.

It’s really important that artists and arts groups and others get some say in what’s important to go into this conference as it’s us who know what we want to see happen and what’s worked and what hasn’t in this city. So, we really are encouraging people and groups to come to a planning session and contribute experience, knowledge and ideas.
