In Head Piece, you are given the chance to be part of a work of art, as an installation of tailor made pieces is created.
Working with the idea of making art about its audience, Laura Edmans aims to make work which is engaging for the viewer through interaction. She is interested in the position of the individual within its community and also in the transience of people- the way they move through their experiences, and affect their surroundings.
Come to compARTment between the 31st August and 5th September, where the first 40 people will be invited to engage with the artist, who will make 40 unique pieces, live in the space. They will then be made into an installation which will remain there until the end of the week.
